Using Social Media to Engage Members and Expand Audiences.

ACT Social Media Campaign

The Association for Contract Textiles (ACT), the professional trade association for the commercial textile industry, sets voluntary guidelines and provides ongoing research and white papers for its members.

In early 2020, ACT sought to expand its reach by providing valuable information on textile specification and maintenance to audiences beyond its membership. We proposed launching social media channels to connect directly with architects and interior designers, leveraging quarterly themed campaigns with participation from ACT members. A workgroup was formed, inviting member marketing teams to contribute ideas and offer feedback.

ACT Instagram Feed

Through these efforts, ACT has successfully grown its presence on Instagram and LinkedIn, extending its reach beyond members to specifiers and educators. Even more significantly, members have begun sharing and creating their own content, amplifying ACT’s message and benefiting the entire industry.
